How to Log In via SAML SSO?

Teammates who want to access Botgate AI through SAML-based single sign-on (SSO) are able to log in through an identity provider (IDP) of your choice.

The Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) standard is used for authentication to applications based on the user's session in another application. You can enable or disable Single Sign-On (SSO) for users accessing the Botgate AI Dashboard based on the security requirements of your organization.

Configuration

First, navigate Botgate AI Dashboard > Integrations > SAML SSO.

You can get Identity Provider Single Sign-On URL and Public Certificate from your identity provider.

The data should be copied and pasted with —–BEGIN CERTIFICATE—– as the header and —–END CERTIFICATE—- as the footer on the Public Certificate.

There are two options for the Authentication Method:

  • Require SAML SSO: It doesn't require any password to log in. The users only should enter their email addresses.
  • Require SAML SSO or password: The users can log in via both their password or SAML SSO.

An Account Owner who initiated this integration will always be able to sign in with SAML SSO or password. Other teammates can log in using the Authentication Method.
